Apotheker
Apotheker is a narrative open-ended puzzle game about brewing potions to soothe the ails of the world. My role in this project was to produce the soundtrack and sound effects. This game had a short development cycle of about a half of a year, but we successfully released it in November 2020! It is available on both Steam and Itch.io.
Load Roll Die OST
A good friend, Jordan Faas-Bush, commissioned me for a short OST to intersperse into his game Load Roll Die - a game where you collect and switch out dice faces to succeed in combat. This was the first project I've worked on where my music wasn't the only music in the game, so I challenged myself to make the music fit in, but not too much. I am very happy with the result!
Fruitlands
Fruitlands.OS is a project that I and my girlfriend Lyla are collaborating on in our free time. The premise is that the player is exploring the file system of an eccentric scientist's personal computer, where data is locked away behind increasingly complex puzzles. The main mechanic is that any file or folder name that appears in the grid becomes a clickable link.
We don't have a release timeline right now, but the game is essentially mechanically complete, and the story is mostly written. I've provided the code, visuals, and audio, and Lyla has written the story and the non-puzzle text files. This project gave me room to stretch my wings, particularly in the realm of game mechanic creation and implementation, while humoring my personal preferences in creating unusual and comprehensive systems with their own internal logic. |

Shikigami: The Paper Spirits

Shikigami is a 3D puzzle-platformer developed by CJ Legato, Claire Thomas, Kalvin Janik, and myself over the course of a semester at RPI.
On this project, I contributed a full soundtrack produced in Nuendo, as well as creating and implementing the SFX system with Wwise. As I had a full semester to work, I was able to spend time on detail and deliver sound that I thought was not only up to par, but was unified as an experience. Working with Wwise was great, and I took the opportunity to tour the features as much as I could. As a bonus, I got to do some fun origami work for this project - the dragon is my design! |

I post music monthly on my SoundCloud. My personal music is most often electronica, but I also pull heavily from classical, jazz, and Scottish/Irish traditional music.
For the moment, I use SoundCloud just to share with friends and family, and to keep a record of my progress as a musician - I still have the first track I ever created publicly available. Other than that, I have few places where I post work. |
